Papaya rose smoothie is a great breakfast for those rushed mornings or a refreshing drink for lazy summer afternoons. Made with almond milk and no refined sugar they are also vegan and guilt-free.
I am the queen of grocery shopping 😀 so we buy a lot of stuff anytime we visit a grocery, farmers market or fruit stand or whatnot. But anytime we buy the big fruits like papayas and melons we always end up wasting a little bit in the end since its a lot for a family of 3. There is only so much a 3 year old will eat before hating it for the rest of the month :D. So smoothies are a great way for us to finish up all that fruit.
Papayas are a great source of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals and the seeded ones are better than the smaller ones without seeds. Combined with the rose flavor the smoothie tastes absolutely great and refreshing. You could use either rose syrup or rose water to flavor the drink. If you would like to avoid refined sugar stick to rose water since rose syrup has a lot of added sugar.
