Sugar cookie cups with a chocolate buttercream nest and Cadbury mini Easter eggs are an excellent addition to Easter dessert tables.
These cookie cups are extremely easy to make, even for novices, while delivering big time in the aesthetic and taste departments. So if you are a last minute person like me and need a quick but crowd-pleasing snack for a big gathering look no further than this.
I made the cookie cups a bit less sweet to compensate for the buttercream and chocolate mini egg on top but feel free to add a bit more sugar if that’s how you prefer it. I still can’t get over how adorable these tiny cookies look😍😍 and they took just 10 minutes to decorate the entire batch of 66 cookies I made.
This batch yielded 66 cookie cups for me and they were pretty tiny ones but I felt like they were the right size but do feel free to make just 40 if you prefer them slightly bigger or if you don’t need that many.
